How much will a refurbishment cost me?

Sorry, but we do not have a fixed price for every wheel. All alloy wheels are very different in size and design and the total cost will also depend on the amount of damage and / or corrosion. Please call us on 07768 617 652 or use the online Enquiry Form for an extremely competitive quotation.

My wheel is cracked / bent, can you repair it?

Unfortunately not. Bent / buckled wheels need to be straightened on specialist machinery we do not have. Similarly, cracks need to be 'TIG welded' which is a specialist type of welding used on aluminium. Also cracked, bent or buckled wheels can be extremely unsafe if they're not repaired properly and we would highly recommend that you consider purchasing a new replacement wheel.

How will you refurbish my alloys?

Please see the Process page for a full explanation of the repair process with photographs.

Can you match the colour of my wheels?

Almost always. We carry a wide range of silvers and anthracite to suit the majority of vehicle manufacturers wheels. However, if your wheels are a special colour or you would like to change the colour, then please notify us and we will obtain it for you. There may be a small extra charge for speciality colours to cover extra costs.

My wheels have a diamond cut / polished finish, can you refurbish them?

Yes, but they would be painted and lacquered. Companies that do this finish typically take 5-7 days and you will have to take the wheels to them. Water penetrating the lacquer can cause corrosion very quickly. View examples in the Gallery demonstating this problem. Most customers decide on a hard wearing painted finish because it resists corrosion better and will last much longer.

Can I use my vehicle after my wheels are complete?

Absolutley. You can use your car as normal straight away. However, we ask that you do not wash the wheels or use any chemicals like wheel cleaning and tyre dressing products for at least 48 hours. This is a precaution to allow the lacquer to fully cure.

How long will it take to refurbish a set of 4 alloys?

Usually, between 5 to 6 hours. However, this will depend on how much damage and / or corrosion the wheels have. Seriously corroded or heavily kerb damaged alloys can very easily take much longer to repair, possibly over 8 hours. Please consider this when you make an appointment.

Can you fit new tyres?

Sorry, but we do not supply or fit tyres. Our tyre machine is modified to repair wheels and can not completely remove a tyre.

Can I bring my wheels to you?

Sorry, but no. We only operate a completely mobile unit. You can arrange for the work to be done at your home or place of work, whatever is more convenient. All that is required is somewhere to park our van, (which is on the large side) and access to a 240V power socket.

Are you insured to work on my vehicle?

Yes, of course we are. You can be assured that we have full and comprehensive public liabilty insurance cover. Our policy documents are available for you to view on request.
